I observe that most people are afraid to venture in business because they are afraid to experience difficulties and face failures or losing the game of business. As Robert Kiyosaki said “A winning strategy must include losing.”
As I recall the many challenges I’ve been through I learned one of the biggest lesson in life that is, “To swallow my pride and learn from failures.” As I continue my path to Entrepreneurship I understood how to use it in business. I also learned from my mentor that, “Success is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm.”

Let me share to you the key components of Entrepreneur’s success and how I applied it in my life.
Entrepreneur accept rejection as lesson
I had an experience where I prepared everything for a business proposal to a prospect business partner however by the end of the presentation he told me that he don’t need it and have no intention to close the deal. At first it hurt my pride as a person but then I told myself that there must be something missing and that maybe I need to improve myself so I can easily close a deal. Entrepreneur knows that every rejection is a learning to master their craft and finding new ways to innovate because as Robert Kiyosaki said “Repetition is the King” This kept me to learn more everyday and master my craft.
Entrepreneur Failure is Temporary
As a newbie in our business community I always commit mistakes. There’s always a time when I fail to close a deal and was rejected for more than 5 times. It was really an important growth on my part and in my business. I was so frustrated and low of energy but then I need to control my emotion and move on. I must not let myself be discouraged. As my mentor told me, “Never confuse a single defeat with a final defeat.” I learn that Failure is only temporary not forever.
Entrepreneur Focus on Strength
One of the habits of the core team members in CA2020 is that we always text or email our successes to fellow core team member, this is to give inspiration and to empower everyone in our business. As said by Bob Butera “What distinguishes winners from losers is that winners concentrate at all times on what they can do, not on what they can’t do.” I always have a habit of remembering my past success whenever I face failures. It really works. My fiancée always remind me about it, I feel good and I’m back to my senses again and more focused on my goal. Facing failure makes us stronger. It develops and maximizes our potential to our business.
Entrepreneur vary Approaches to Achievement
One skill I learned being an Entrepreneur is to have different approach to hit my goal in the business “As Thomas Edison said, “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” I learned to use leverage especially in technology, improvise and find new ways to solve problems. It is through different ways I used that I commit mistakes and also learn in the process.
Entrepreneur Bounces Back
One of the abilities of the Entrepreneur is that they bounce back in series of setbacks in their life. I found this real from one of my colleagues who did not give up until he reached his goal. He failed twice in the business he never gave up and later he becomes one of the successful business people I ever know. He shared his secret to and told me that, “I just Figure out what is missing or flaw to my action and I will not do it again.”
My journey to Entrepreneurship is not yet finished. Everyday I am eager to learn more and with the guidance of my mentor in the business my personality and leadership is in progress.
With all of the adversities that I faced I told myself that I will never give up my dreams. As Carl Brasier said "It's not a sin to get knocked down; it's a sin to stay down" and "I ain't going to let nobody steal my dream".
